A good portrait does more than capture appearance. It should hold a trace of the subject’s rhythm, mood, and sense of self.

That is why I aim for sessions that feel collaborative rather than performative. The best portraits usually emerge when the subject can forget about posing and simply be present.

The camera becomes a witness to that quiet exchange, and the image carries the feeling long after the session ends.
